At Hoang Lam building your project is a finely tuned process that incorporates a number of steps from designing all the way through to commissioning of equipment. Your investment is important to us so we show you how it happens all the way through from our factory to your facility.
Before your idea or drawing can become reality it has to go through all our checks to make sure everything is in order. Our drafting and design team is a strong point for Hoang Lam with over 20 people in the team. Plus, we have the technical experience, procedures, and man power to complete even the most complicated designs to the highest standards. Once the drawings are approved we can commence work.
It all starts with the raw materials. All our products use the best raw materials from Suppliers like Outokumpu, Barhu (Acerinox), and Posco stainless steel. Upon receipt of material, it goes into our inventory system and is traceable through the entire process so you can verify your stainless steel tanks are made with only the best materials and last for many years to come.
After going through our de-coiler, we mark off the material and begin the cutting process ensuring each and every measurement is exactly to your specifications. After cutting we verify the measurements again and individually mark every piece so that it is traceable even if the manufacturer’s stamp is not visible. This guarantees materials are traceable and you get what you pay for.
From the cutting area we form the stainless steel through a number of different machines and processes depending on the equipment we are working on. Our machines use many tons of pressure to form up to 16mm thick material allowing us to create nearly any type tank, vessel, or any other piece of equipment you need including piping and other components.
Once we have completed the general forming of the main components for your equipment we are ready to begin assembling. Using our in factory cranes, forklifts, lifts, and other equipment we put each and every piece into place to ensure the fabrication goes exactly to plan. This process ensures Hoang Lam’s equipment is always exactly to specification and meets your needs.
Your tank or vessel is now really taking shape, and is going through our plasma welding process. Allowing us to weld up to 15mm thickness we save time while ensuring an extremely high quality welding line. Afterwards, we do manual welding on the smaller and more intricate parts using argon gas powered TIG welding equipment in the hands of 6G and 3G Apave Certified welders.
Grinding down any hard spots and ensuring a smooth and clean surface is vital to guarantee the long term sustainability of your new tank, vessel, or any other piece in the system that Hoang Lam works on. Then of course polishing to customer needs and specifications is one of the last steps that makes our equipment not only beautiful, but warranties that it is in the best shape possible for each customer.
No piece of equipment is complete until it passes all of the needed tests for each and every customer. Including industry standard tests on each tank or vessel such as X-Ray, hydro, pressure, surface and finishing tests, and other tests per your requirements. Hoang Lam also can supply certifications needed to guarantee products perform in any country around the world.
Really the last major step to ensure your equipment stands the test of time, and most likely equally important to any other step. We take our time during this process and cover every cm of the equipment. Not only do we offer this service as standard for all standard equipment, but we also provide this service on-site as a regular scheduled maintenance to ensure that equipment stays at its best for years and years.
After all the other steps have been completed and passed to high quality control standards, we are ready to give your equipment the factory acceptance test (FAT). Once it has passed through that point, it’s ready for your final seal of approval. Of course, you are also welcome to come watch at any stage while your project is built as we do everything in-house.
